Welcome to Homegrown!
Homegrown Amstaffs is a small, home based kennel, located in West-Central Georgia. Our dogs actively compete in dog sports, are working dogs, and most importantly, are beloved members of our family.
Homegrown is owned by Amy Watson, a breed enthusiast, advocate, and owner/handler.
Our History
A few years after being introduced to and developing a passion for dog sports, our first American Staffordshire Terrier was purchased in 2015, as a Conformation show prospect.
Her purchase officially established our kennel. However, it wasn't until 2017, while sitting with a group of friends at a dog show, that our kennel name was decided.
Homegrown is part of the registered name for our foundation dog, Harley. Everything we have done and will do is because of her and it's our special way to honor Harley.
We produced our first litter in the fall of 2018 and our second generation of Homegrown dogs in 2023. Follow along as we continue to work towards our goals.
